Following a formal education in film and tv production, Roy has had the opportunity to experience all levels of production. He has worked as a production assistant on major film productions, as an independent short film maker and as a cameraman/editor on news and documentary style productions. Freelancing as a cameraman has been very satisfying for Roy. He has had the opportunity to work in many diverse situations while honing his craft.

  Roy is a member of I.A.T.S.E. (the International Cinematographers Guild), the C.I.C.A. (Canadian Independent Camera Association) and the C.S.C. (Canadian Society of Cinematographers). Roy has won numerous awards for his work. His skills are flexible and diverse. He has the ability to shoot anything from a simple news style shoot to a larger production involving lighting and grip direction.

  Roy has enjoyed his time in the industry and looks forward to many more years of comradery and creative collaboration.
